Job Title: Senior Lecturer

Job Overview
As Senior Lecturer, you will be directly answerable to the Head of Department and be responsible for teaching, grading, taking time with students to check and assess their assignments and research works. Engage with the broader Scholarly and Professional Communities and carry out research and produce publications in reputable journals.
Qualification and Experience
The minimum qualification required for the Lecturer positions on direct appointment is PhD degree in the subject of interest or related field with 5 peer-reviewed publication/ Master’s degree with 7 peer-reviewed publications and a relevant 5 years of experience in teaching with a renowned University. Advanced communication and organizational skills are required.

Job Title: Quality Assurance/Planning Assistant

Job Overview
As Quality Assurance/Planning Assistant, you will be directly answerable to the Director of Quality Assurance and Planning and will assist the Director on the operational management and support of academic standards and quality enhancement across the school, overseeing academic quality assurance functions such as course approval, monitoring and review. The processes overseen by the Quality Assurance and planning Assistant ensure there is a regular cycle of feedback from students, staff, academics from other institutions and industry experts, all of which is used to share new ideas and constantly improve, as well as making sure academic standards are maintained. The responsibility of this position is to maintain all academic data systems in the school and provide accurate and clear reports to the senior management team. Qualification and Experience
The minimum qualification required for the Quality Assurance/Planning Assistant positions is a good honours degree in the following fields; Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Economics from a recognized University. Good knowledge of Microsoft office is mandatory.
Job Title: Laboratory Technician (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)

Job Overview
Under general supervision, The Lab Technician provides instructional support services by performing technical work in Biology, Chemistry or physics laboratories; orders, issues, prepares, and maintains laboratory materials, supplies, and associated equipment; assists in the preparation of laboratory experiments and demonstrations; performs related duties as required. Positions in the Laboratory Technician class are assigned duties requiring considerable technical knowledge and ability in the assigned field of specialization. Incumbents are expected to exercise independent judgment in the performance of duties and are responsible for supervising and maintaining all laboratory supplies, materials, equipment, and records. Positions in this class specialize in the assigned subject area.
Qualification and Experience
The minimum qualification required for the Laboratory Technician (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) positions is a good honours degree in the following fields; Biology, Chemistry or Physics) from a recognized University. Some experience as a laboratory technician in the appropriate subject field will be an added advantage.
Job Title: University Librarian

Job Overview
The University Librarian shall provide Academic and Professional services in the University Library. Main duties include though not limited to directing in selecting, acquiring, cataloguing, circulating, and maintaining library resources. Manage access to database and information systems and ensure that library provision meets the user’s needs.
Qualification and Experience
PhD with at least 12 good publications and a positive assessment report with Master’s Degree from recognized University preferably: Management, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, or any other related field. A minimum of 12 years post qualification experience is required for a Master’s Degree holder preferably in University Library or cognate Institution and 8 years post qualification experience for a PhD holder preferably in University administration.
Job Title: System Librarian

Job Overview
The System Librarian shall assist the Librarian to provide Academic and Professional services in the University Library. The main respsibilities include: i. Maintaining Library computers (including hardware and software) ii. Training the staff and students in the use of computer. iii. Providing online SDI services to researchers, scholars and teachers. iv. Maintaining databases. v. Marketing the library and information products and services. vi. Performing other professional work assigned by the Librarian.
Qualification and Experience
A good Honours degree in Computer Science or Information Science, with at least Second Class (Lower Division). S/e must possess Master in Library Science (MLS) or Master in Library and Information Science (MLIS). S/e must be computer literate.
Job Title: Librarian II
Job Family: Academic

Job Overview
The Librarian II shall assist the Librarian to provide Academic and Professional services in the University Library. The main responsibilities include: i. Catalogue and Classification of Library Materials with LCCS and Law Book with Dewey Schedule. ii. Training of junior staff under his/her charge and supervise their work. iii. Conduct training for library users on how to use library. iv. Provide collection development services through selection of relevant books for their Unit. v. Deliver on the spot reference services to staff, Lecturer, researcher, scholar or new student. vi. Morning[aa1] shelve reading.
Qualification and Experience
A good Honours degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) and MLS or MLIS (with course work and Thesis) in Library Science or Library and Information Science. He or She must be computer literate.
Job Title: Library Assistant

Job Overview
The Library Assistant shall assist the Librarian to provide Academic and Professional services in the University Library. The main responsibilities include: i. Help customers locate books. ii. Help customers find materials online. iii. Checking books in and out at the front circulation desk. iv. Sorting and shelving books according to their Class Number. v. Record new books, maintain and update user profiles. vi. Duplicate checking vii. Accession Library Books viii. Shelve periodicals ix. General Circulation work: · Lend to readers. · Shelve and re-shelve new and use books · Recall overdue books. · Filed index and catalogue cards. · Collate users’ statistics.
Qualification and Experience
He or She must have a good five credits pass including English Language in WAEC O/L. He or She must have National Diploma Certificate in Library Science or its equivalent in other subjects to be considered for upgrading or promotion to Assistant Library Officer. He or she must be computer literate.
Job Title: Library Porter
Job Family: Academic
Reports to: Librarian
Job Overview
The Library Porter shall assist the Librarian to provide Academic and Professional services in the University Library. The main responsibilities include; i. Open and close the Library. ii. Staff the main reception point iii. Welcome library users and visitors. iv. Provide information to library users and visitors, v. Check library user’ s pass and information materials, vi. Set Security Alarms and play important role in care and security of library building, surrounding and collections. vii. To check the outgoing reading materials and other library assets ensuring that they are properly issued at the exit points. viii. Help in carriage of goods in and outside the library. ix. Report daily findings of Irregular happenings. x. Report mechanical fault and user’s complaints to Circulation Librarian. xi. Any other work assigned.
Qualification and Experience
S/he must have at least good five credits pass including English Language in WAEC O/L and relevant security training or Library Porter experience. An avenue for upgrading or promotion to Assistant Library Officer. He or she must be computer literate.
