UTG Graduate Inspires Fellows at University of Washington

Mr. Bubacarr Drammeh, an LLB graduate from the University of The Gambia’s Faculty of Law was chosen as Graduate Student Speaker at the University of Washington(UW) Law School, USA.

“I am delighted, humbled and honoured as the speaker of this incredible, dynamic, multi-racial, multicultural and multinational class,” Mr. Drammeh said, before sharing his captivating story from fleeing The Gambia in 2016 and living in the U.S as an unemployed migrant to his subsequent enrolment into the University of Washington.

Mr. Drammeh, who bagged a Masters Degree (LL.M) in Sustainable International Development Law, was one of our outstanding student leaders while pursuing his degree at the Faculty of Law. He was part of a formidable team that represented the University in various mooting competitions while also volunteering with the UTG Law Clinic.
