Following a thorough recruitment process, the University of The Gambia is deploying highly skilled interns to Municipalities and Area Councils across the country.
During their six month internship, the final year students and recent graduates will boost the quality of service delivery by the respective local government authorities and as well enrich their knowledge in community development.
With funding from the UNDP-Gambia, a delegation of multiple stakeholders went on an assessment tour of the Municipalities and Area Councils to identify areas that needed much support.
