Adventure meets academia! Four staff members from the University of The Gambia (UTG) have embarked on an exciting journey to the University of Jaén, Spain, under the Erasmus+ KA171 Exchange Programme.
The programme forms part of UTG’s continuous commitment to strengthening international partnerships and fostering staff development through training, knowledge exchange, and collaboration with global institutions. By participating in such programmes, UTG aims to broaden perspectives, enhance institutional capacity, and promote a culture of learning that transcends borders.
Representing different units across the University, the participating staff members are:
- Mr. Abdoulie Jallow – Lecturer, School of Business and Public Administration
- Ms. Amie J. Bah – Senior Accountant
- Mr. Sulayman Jammeh – Coordinator, Transport Unit
- Ms. Yasirreh Bojang – Faculty Officer, Graduate School
The week-long visit will include interactive sessions, meetings, and collaborative activities designed to promote academic and administrative excellence. Beyond the official agenda, the exchange offers a chance to experience new cultures, strengthen professional networks, and bring fresh ideas back home to UTG.
