A United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) delegation led by Ms. Aissata De, the Resident Representative, paid a visit to the newly inaugurated Career and Wellness Centre (C & W) of the University.
The Coordinator of the centre, Madam JagneKantara took the delegation on a conducted tour of the facility, which is established with the support of the UNDP.
“I’m very pleased to be here,” Ms. Desaid, “this was an idea we discussed just a few months ago and today it is fully operational. This is a great achievement,” she remarked while reiterating the importance of the MOU between the UNDP and UTG.
Also present at the centre were Vice Chancellor Prof, Faqir Muhammad Anjum, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Pierre Gomez, Students’ Union President Ousman Jassey and the support staff of the centre.
