Officials from the University’s Management were on an important engagement with students in what is described as a convergence of “Making UTG Great” at the Law Faculty Auditorium in Kanifing.
This is one of the several avenues that the Management meets directly with the General students to effectively communicate its plans & policies while taking into stock students’ concerns.
Our newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Herbert Robinson was a panelist with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Prof. Pierre Gomez, and Director of Student Affairs & Alumni, Dr. Habibatou Drammeh. They discussed quite a range of activities and structures that the new Vice-Chancellor and his management are able to put in place following his appointment in January 2022.
Giving his deliberation, the Vice-Chancellor urges the Students Union to consider having such platforms to better develop Gambia’s only state-owned university.
