Officials from the University of The Gambia, the ministry of higher education, research science and technology and ministry of justice convened a day long review of the UTG Bill.
This was a unique platform meant to give these major players the opportunity to share ideas and ensure an all-inclusive document prior to being placed before the deputies at the National Assembly.
High profile attendees at the review, included the Hon. Badara Joof, Minister of higher education,research,science and technology and his permanent secretary, the president of the UTG faculty and staff association,Dr. Alieu Gibba,Lawyer Malick HB Jallow and Chairman of the university Governing Council.
