Postgraduate Certificate in Research Ethics and Methodology (PCREM)

The Gambia Research Ethics and Methodology Training Initiative (GamREMTI) is excited to announce the second cohort of its prestigious Postgraduate Certificate in Health Research Ethics and Methodology (PCHREM). Funded by the Fogarty International Centre at the National Institutes of Health in the United States, this program offers formal training to bridge the gap between theory and practice in health research ethics, equipping trainees with the expertise needed to shape the future of ethical research.

Eligibility Criteria: To be admitted to the program, candidates must satisfy the following minimum conditions:

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree program.
  • Proficiency in writing and speaking English.
  • Submission of the application form and supporting documents.
  • Active participation in a workshop sponsored by GamREMTI.
  • Applicants must reside in The Gambia when they apply and during the program.

Tuition Information: The tuition and fees are D41,250 per semester (D82,500 per academic year) and a supervision fee of D5,000.
