The International Relations Office of the University of The Gambia (UTG) is delighted to announce the opening of applications for the Erasmus+ KA171 Exchange Programme at the University of Jaen, our esteemed partner institution based in Andalusia, Spain.
This collaboration seeks to enhance international cooperation and student development. As part of the agreement, only four (4) slots are available this time around for UTG students to undertake a six-month academic exchange at the University of Jaen.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet all of the following:
- Full-time undergraduate UTG students who must be in their third year of study by the next semester, February 2025/2026.
- Students must be in non-science fields only (excluding SITC and Mathematics majors), as the University of Jaen does not offer pure science courses in English Language.
- Only first-time applicants to international exchange programmes will be considered.
- Have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 or above due to the limited spots available.
- Submit a 300-word motivational letter explaining the relevance and potential impact of the exchange experience.
- Students with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
Deadline for submission is 15th November 2025 at 12:00 noon GMT. Late applications will not be considered.
